Celebrate North Carolina food culture and history! This extremely tasty event includes BBQ and Pie contests. Guests can taste the BBQ and pick a People’s Choice winner of their own. Enjoy live music, food, and visit local vendors set up on the festival grounds. At the Duke House, costumed interpreters will demonstrate historical cooking methods.

See our activities for the day below.Various food samples (lots of pickled items!) will be available for a small suggested cash donation. In case of high temperatures, we will have a cool down tent and a water sprinkler for kids to jump through (bring a towel!)
